you seem to have read the JG 300 history - I think you've answered your own question in your second paragraph! II.(Sturm)/JG300 aces with multiple P-51 vics (Bauer claimed three on that sortie alone didn't he?) would potentially have flown a standard A-8 (with erhoehte Notleistung). None of the photos of 'Kornjarck' I've seen show any Sturmbock additions..
