Bf109G-10 Wrk.Nr. 490137
This aircraft landed in Sweden on 24/4-1945. It was flown out of Usedom by Hauptmann Waldemar Wagler of JG51. Looking at some partially overpainted markings I suspect that this aircraft was previously flown by II./JG3. Maybe the aircraft was damaged and partially repainted after repairs because the camoflage pattern is not the original Erla paintjob. If it indeed was damaged maybe it can be found in losslists...
Any additional info would be most welcome. I'm working on a profile of this aircraft and I want to do it both in German markings and the later Swedish markings applied when it was testflown. Thanks in advance! / Anders Here's a link to the pictures: http://www.ipmsstockholm.net/forum/w...ticle=43287802 |
