Info Request: Pilot Hans-Joachim Zantopp
Hello everyone,
Ltn. Hans-Joachim Zantopp of III./KG 100 (Do 217 K2 6N+BD) was shot down near Sicily on 10 August 1943. He survived and was taken prisoner. I'm interested in learning as much as I can about his Luftwaffe career as well as basic biographic information. Is there a source that can provide this? Thanks MB P.S. for those who have been following my research on German glide bombs, I just learned that my book will be published in 2010 by the Naval Institute Press. Thanks to the many people here who have provided valuable assistance.
