Shot-up Hurricane P3065 DZ-G
Still researching battle damage pictures.
Found several very good JAMD pictures showing damage to the tail unit and fuselage of Hurricane P3065 coded DZ-G. It looks like a 20mm cannon-shell exploded in the tail, peppering the fuselage and wings (removed in one picture) with fragments. I am aware the a/c was repaired and flew again. Can anyone please tell me when the action resulting in the damage took place, and who the pilot was ? TIA for any assistance. BC
