40 Sqn loss, July 7th 1944?

Hi

Can anyone help me the details of a 40 Sqn loss, on the above date. One of the crew was navigator Ernest Hall, 172562, who is buried in Klagenfurt War Cemetery, Austria.

Many thanks

Simon
