USAAF Teletype codes Query
Hello,
My first post and I would like, first of all, to thank Moderators for accepting me on this forum. I was reading some 8th AF teletype messages and noticed to/from adresses were in "code" all starting with OI thereafter 3 other letters. Codes I have come across so far are : OIAJX OIAWW OIBDY OIBMP OIBXD OIDEB OIHAK OIKHI OIKWG OIPNT OIRDN OISAS OISFW OISTP OISXW OITHE OIWOD OIWTH OIWTM Could anyone explain me where these codes relate to or even what they were?
