1./Ku.Fl.Gr.906 - Do.18 Oblt Dietrich
5th September 1940, Oblt Dietrich aircraft Do 18D K6+KL is caught near the Norfolk coast by three Blenheim fighters of 235 Squadron, low on the water, Dietrich try's to out run them. In a one sided fight, the Do. 18 makes it back to France with one crew man wounded and the a/c full of holes.
The pilot is listed as Oblt Dietrich. Could anyone clarify that his first name was Hans? Your Faithfully, Andy Bird
