If you look at the small grid presentation of "North Italy Grid" it seems that to use the "Co-ordinate translator" you have to put a lower case 'r' in front of the upper case 'E' so rE777880 comes up with Strehovci near Dobrovnik? Is that in the right kind of neighbourhood?

I'll get back to you on the other reference you have
