Date Werner Machold became Sta Kap of 7./JG2
Hello,
As far as I know, the actual date that Obfw Werner Machold was promoted to Oblt and took over as StaKap of 7./JG2 has never been precisely established. It had to be after he achieved his 26th victory with 9./JG2 on 30 Sept. 1940. Has anyone ever determined precisely when he moved to 7 Staffel? It appears to have been sometime after 30.09.40 and around 01.41, but as far as I know when exactly this happened has never been determined. The Luft Off Career Summary does not have an accurate date for this. Who can help? Regards, Larry Hickey EoE Project Coordinator
