![]() Gentlemen,
A single Seenotdienst Do-24 flyingboat had rescued in one sortie 99 children and fourteen adults from a Soviet advance into Koszalin during the Battle of Kolberg on March of 1945. The load was very heavy. It couldn't fly but it wave-hopped and taxed back to base! That had to be a world record of most people rescued by a flyingboat in one sortie. I wondered what the crew's names were especially the pilot? Any thoughts? Sincerely, Edward L. Hsiao |
