Thanks Bill and Ed - I am so much more informed regarding the Japanese Fugo Balloons, thanks to your contributions, and those of Mike and Erich and others. It's not an aspect of the war that is well known this side of the Pond. Unfortunately, I am able only to provide brief mention of these balloon attacks in my forthcoming book, whereas I would have liked to devoted more coverage.
