Seeking location, details & photos of 1./KGr100 He111H apparently FL near Cherbourg on 16.08.40

Can anyone help?

According to the EoE LW Loss DB:

"16 August 1940: August 16, 1940

1./KGr.100 Heinkel He111H-1. Reported missing following night attack on Nuffield (Morris) Works, Castle Bromwich, but believed forced-landed near Cherbourg, France, 4.15 a.m. BO Lt Oswald Lochbrunner and three NCOs all unhurt- returned later. Aircraft 100% write-off.
Second attack on Britain mounted by 24 aircraft of KGr.100 during the night of 15/16. Two of the aircraft dispatched were forced to return due to technical problems, another returned on one engine, while one crew suffered altitude sickness and returned having jettisoned their bombs on Exmouth."

As reported in Ultra intercepts from Ln Regt.12 this may be a/c they reported down near Cherbourg. Could this be the KGr100 a/c 6N+NH photographed as FL on a French beach circa August 1940?

Any further information of assistance would be appreciated.
