Elusive Kampfgeschwader 2 Signature
I am having no luck in trying to put a name to the attached signature concerning an Urlaub entry in a Kampfgeschwader 2 Soldbuch.
Dated 02-June-1941, I 'think' the signature reads as Hauptmann Reiss, although I cannot be 100% on that. In Doug and Larry's excellent Luftwaffe Officers database, there is a Hans Reiss listed as being in Kampfgeschwader 2 in this timeframe however, he is listed as not being of Hauptmann rank until 01-October-1942 (incidently, he has signed the Soldbuch also, and is a different signature) which would rule him out for this signature.
