French P-47 puzzle - painting scheme
Would someone please help me establish correct painting scheme of French GC III/3 'Ardennes' Thunderbolts? Apparently, most of the books got it wrong
I'm attaching some variations of the basic scheme:  My questions are: Was the wing band yellow, black&white or none? Or were there varitations within the unit? Were the fuselage bands in form of three white thin stripes on green camouflage or were they black&white bands? Was there an anti-glare stripe in front of the cockpit? Thank you in advance!
