Dear All,

Thank you for your replies, these were much appreciated, with one notable exception, which most certainly was not.

I feel that the writing overleaf was correctly deciphered by Franck as "Flugplatz Neumünster", which along with Larry de Zeng's post No.18 above gives the date as 21 September 1939, or later. Not necessarily what I was hoping for, but the photo can now be correctly classified, which I consider to be a positive outcome for the thread.
