Hello Eric

This airplane was the Mustang MkI AG565 HB-A loss the 21st July 1942 at Norville (F76330) 30KM W of Rouen, he was shot down probably by the Stab II./JG 2 Oblt Bolz
The pilot of this airplane must be the F/Lt Veal, most probably POW
The 239th was an Army co-operation unit
