Karl Hagemann JG 4 claim
Good morning I was wondering if anyone could help with my enquiry.
Gefrieter Karl Hagemann apparently claimed 2 kills, both P47s on the day that he was shot down in 18th December 1944. I had a look at US losses for that day and no P47 aircraft were lost to air combat. Apparently there is mention of his victories in the jäger blatt 1/2005 which I can't access and am waiting for volume 2 of mombeeks storming the bombers which describes the action. His logbook does mention air combat with 40 P51 & P40 aircraft in which he was shot down and hospitalised. Can anyone help at all regarding confirmation of his kills ?, or further information on this flier ? Thank you in advance Ben
