JG2 and JG26 operations 19th August 1942
Does anybody know if documents survive recording the operations of JG2 and JG26 during the Dieppe raid.
I've got their losses and claims and rough numbers from the loss and claims lists and unit books. JG2- 400+ sorties JG26- 36 missions (comprising 377 sorties) I can't find anything relevant using the Bundesarchive search tool looking for Jafu 2, Jafu 3, JG2 or JG26, but I wonder if there exists any detailed records of the days operations and somebody could suggest where to look.
