Attack on RAF Mildenhall October 13th 1941
Hi,
The RAF Mildenhall Station Records Book states that Mildenhall was attacked at 21:45hrs on October 13th by an unplotted German aircraft. Four craters were made in the landing ground and four holes in 'A' Flights Hangar. I am aware that I./NJG2 were active over England. However, the Mildenhall Records book reports the craters were 'large'. So could this still be I./NJG2? TIA Steve
