3 P-38 were shot down on this date. They belonged to yellow flight, consisting of yellow flight, Capt. Orville E. Myers, flight leader, 2nd Lt. Fred F. Kingsbury, and 2nd Lt. Edward L. Henkle

Myers 659167 Pilot KIA P-38 42-67737 (364th Fighter Group 384th Fighter Squadron) enemy fighters crashed Muehorn / Totenburg-Zeven Gr MACR 3892 15-04-1944 Fred F. Kingsbury 750615 Pilot KIA P-3842-67240 ( 364th Fighter Group 384th Fighter Squadron) enemy aircraft crashed near Ottersberg Gr. MACR 3891 15-04-1944 Who could have been the victors if indeed they were shot down by enemy fighters ( that is the cause given in J-845 for Edward L Henkle) Thanks in advance |
