Question about Ju88A of 3./KG30 down Denmark 16.3.40
Hello,
I'm trying to verify the spelling of the last name of a pilot from 3./KG30 that force-landed on the Danish island of Lolland on 16.3.40. Shores in his "Fledgling Eagles" says the spelling of the pilot's last name was "Mattner," while the "Airwar Over Denmark" website says his name was "Matner." Does anyone know which is correct? Thanx,
