Hptm Karl Langenberg 1./SG 4
Was Hptm Karl Langenberg who was KIA (KIFA?) 18Mar44 whilst serving with 1./SG 4 the same individual as Obfw Karl Langenberg who flew with 5./ZG 76 during the Battle of Britain and made 7 claims between 12May40-15Sep40
What were the circumstances of Hptm Langenberg's death, was he KIA or killed in an accident. I believe he was flying FW 190A-6 (470412; White 7+) at the time. If they are the same has anyone got details of his career between his service with 5./ZG 76 and 1./SG 4 Hptm Langenberg was awarded the DKiG during 1944, probably posthumously.
