Bf 109G-6 with Americans ?
I found the atteched profile of a rumanian Bf 109G-6 on a russian site. Now I have some questions:
With this a/c a rumanian pilot brought lt.col. Gunn to Italy. Some sources say it´s Werknummer was 66 130. In the profile you can see 166 139 (?). Was the real Werknummer of 66 130 possibly 166 130? I also have a drawing with Werknummer 166 133. Which data is correct. Any help will be welcome. PS: Did US use other Bf 109´s? Are there any profiles, fotos or so? Thanks Thomas
