JG 1 He 162 with long red arrow
Hello,
Today, I have received an interesting photo of a He 162 on display in the US shortly after the war. Interestingly, it seems that the red arrow on the nose is extended over the whole fuselage. This could have been original German design or applied in the USA, but still, I haven't seen any He 162 photo yet that shows this. Please note the white swastika. Can anyone identify this particular He 162? Have you seen this one before? Regards Roger Gaemperle Last edited by Roger Gaemperle; 9th May 2008 at 10:53. |
