Luftwaffe Units at Tiiksjärvi?
Luftwaffe operated several reconnaissance planes at Tiiksjärvi Aerodrome during 1942-1944 but that's not the information I'm looking for. The right question is which Luftwaffe units were based at Tiiksjärvi? I know there were at least a Flak Battery.
VVS's Polikarpov R-5s attacked the base usually once a night during the trench warfare and killed & wounded also a few germans [1] and now I'm trying to find more about these people through their units. [1] For example on 13th April 1942 when two or more R-5s bombed the Tiiksjärvi Aerodrome and left three or four Germans wounded. Source: SPK-7944, National Archives of Finland. Martti
