Which engine/aircraft took the B4/C3 Fuel Mixture??
I recently acquireda fuel hatch from a German Aircraft.
It is dark grey, and round, so for sure not Me109 or Fw190. Stencilled on the outside is B4/C3, indicting the type of fuel. From what I recall, C3 did not appear until 1944. I know there are cases of late-war fighters with the B4/C3 mixture, however this is the first I have seen to indicate this (usually only one or the other were marked). I was curious which engines could take this mixture...or by late-war, were all able to? |
