Laurent Rizzotti will become famous soon enough
Lt Rupp 7./JG 54 6 November 1942

On 6 November 1942 Lt Friedrich Rupp was shot down during an air battle against Soviet Airacobra and belly-landed his Bf 109 G-2 WNr 10420 behind enemy lines. He evaded capture and returned to his unit.

The place of his loss is listed as "Beresnonuessa" but I can't find a place in Russia bearing this name (or a "Russianized" version, like Bereznonuesa).

This loss took probably place in the general area of Demjansk.

If anybody can identify the location of this loss I will be interested.

Thanks in advance
