Luftwaffe Losses NW Europe 1943

I have a number of camera gun stills showing Luftwaffe aircraft being shot up on the ground/air; can anyone identify any losses (I do know the identities of the Allied pilots responsible). They are:

30 Aug 43: Bf 110 & Ju 52 at Laon-Athies (Ju 52 seen burning)
11 Sep 43: Fi 156 (air-to-air shot)
4 Oct 43: He 111
4 Oct 43: Bf 110 (air-to-air shot)

Re: Luftwaffe Losses NW Europe 1943

Hi.
For 30 Aug 1943 I have the following Bf110.
30 aug 1943 Bf110F-4 w.nr 2679 3./NJG4 Athies. 100%
30 aug 1943 Bf110F-4 w.nr 4681 3./NJG4 Athies. 30%

For 04 Oct 1943 ZG76 lost a lot of Bf110's, so can be hard
to find an exact match.

Regards
Anders

Both losses posted by anderbe was recorded as being due to enemy fire. WNr. 2679 burned on the ground.

Couldn't find any Storches lost in France on 11-Sep., but I did find this one:

Ar 96, 4255, Huppert, Uffz. Hans, , , , Schl.G. 101, , , , , 11-Sep-43, Killed due to enemy fire., , Lfl.3/FR, BA-MA Signatur RL 2 III/776, Flzg.-Unfälle bei Schulen und usw., p.135; BA-MA Signatur RL 2 III/783, Flzg.-Unfälle bei Schulen usw., p.28, , bei Couvron, 100%, H, , ,

Re: Luftwaffe Losses NW Europe 1943

Thanks all. I will be consulting the 609 Sqn F540 this evening so will furnish more. The CG shot on 11 Sep 43 is definitely a Storch but they also claimed the Ar 96 (which I had already). The 4 Oct 43 Bf 110 was a lone one so perhaps another night fighter?

Re: Luftwaffe Losses NW Europe 1943

30 Aug 43: Claims were Ju 52 & Bf 110 destroyed by Detal and Reahill of 609 Sqn plus Bf 110 probably destroyed and Ju 52 damaged by Detal

11 Sep 43: Fi 156 or Hs 126 destroyed by Leslie of 609 Sqn in Juvincourt/Sissonnes area. Ross of 609 tried to attack a Fi 156 but obviously failed-CG shot could not be Leslie's as he was shot down and killed

4 Oct 43: He 111 was by Henrion of 609 Sqn at either Juvincourt/Sissonne. Bf 110 was by de Moulin at Florennes but could also be by Van Lierde at Hasselt, 30 Nov 43

Re: Luftwaffe Losses NW Europe 1943

Hello Chris,

Just being curious but did the presumed 4 oct 43 cinegun of De Moulin reveal any detail of the lanscape, height of combat, etc.?
Perhaps a I./NJG 4 material loss?

Best regards
