Well I am very surprised by your answers, and grateful too. I did not know about Marian Lukaszewicz as he is not listed as qualifying for the Battle of Britain clasp. So if I understand correctly it was P/O Marian L. who had the accident on 29 July 1940 with 302 Squadron. While Kazimierz L. was a P/O with 501 Squadron until his death on 12 August 1940, and then perhaps promoted to F/O after his death ? Regards to all and thanks once more, Martin. |
