Re: stuka belly landing or crash area Chartres france
at approximately 2015 June 6, 1944 the 354FS and 357FS of the 355th FG intercepted approximately 15 Ju-87s near Chartres/Janville and decimated the formation.
Several of the Stukas attempted to crash land to escape the Mustangs and this could be one of those. Regards, Bill Marshall
