No. I would say more likely Bramo 323 engine. Almost cerrainly so.

Any Do 17-Z crashes in the area?

I have found very similar parts and plates. Those that I found were manufactured by the Eberspacher company and were parts of an exhaust flame-damping system.

AH!

I know what it is...

It is part of the heat shield that goes behind each clinder of the Bramo 323. I did not recognize it, as it is such a smal piece of it.

But 100% that is what it is...

The number immediately made sense, and I knew I recognised the item it was fixed to.
