Re: Can anyone translate these documents for me????
Good evening GranddaughterofLuftwaffe
A translation could be like this : Search request for Friedrich Wilhelm and Marie Tillack Dear Mrs. Rooks, gladly we had checked our files on the base of your description. For the town Wierschutzien, Lauenburg County (Niedersachsen, Germany), are no files available concerning your greatgrandfather Friedrich Wilhelm Tillack. The hometown or a residence postwar was not ascertainable by us. For the named location, a person called Marie Tillack geb.(maiden name) Wegner, is registrated. Whether this person could be your greatgrandmother, is not ascertainable by our files. There is the possibility to find out by the responsible offices (local administration) eventually descendants of Mrs. Tillack on the base of your request. By contacting those descendants you may claer the identity of the persons in question and gain more data. Gladly, we want to help you with the communicated data of your person and a short description of your matter to contact further administration. We would then, with the approval of the concerned, provide you with adresses. Tell us, please, if you are interested in this kind of researches. With friendly greetings |
