It is used for indicating how much flap is being used, is my thought.

Re: Unknown scale from Focke Wulf 190

Could this have anything to do with the rudder indication - rudder trim - or is it something completely different..?
Greetings,
Piet

Re: Unknown scale from Focke Wulf 190

Gentlemen, thank you all very much for your advice, I would be inclined to rudder trim levels that go by the mirror in a row on both sides as well. Best regards MT

Re: Unknown scale from Focke Wulf 190

Hi All,
This may not be part of a Fw 190. I could not find anything looking like this in any Fw 190 manuals. The rudder deflection angles for the Fw 190 were +/- 30 degrees and there was no trim. The elevator was +30 to - 25 degrees and there was an electric trim. Aileron deflection +/- 17 degrees. Flaps 13 degrees for takeoff and 58 degrees for landing.

I first thought it may be part of a control force measuring tool for stick deflection relative to the airspeed. But I found out that this tool was calibrated just from 0 to left 4 and right 4 and not in degrees.

Regards,
Norbert
