There was only one aircraft fitted with the BMW 800: Ju 52/5574, D-AHEK.

Yes we certainly are off-topic, apologies. Many good people from many nations are assisting me on this project, no one man can do this.
Also some of them are German speaking, German born and bread and German living. And also having secret helpers is good (or am I helpin them, I forget)!

So we're talking a post H6 He 111 off the coast of Spain near Torrevieja mid 41 onwards. Spanish or German ?

Yes, He 111 H-6 or later variant, middle 1941 onwards. Luftwaffe most likely, in my view, but Spanish CASA 2111 also had Jumos, with wood props.
