Re: 17 March 1944 - III./JG 2
The only 8th AF FC mission on the 17th was a strafing sweep attacking Soesterburg and Chartres A/F. No air claims, nor air loses reported but two reported lost to flak - both 78FG near Reims (Coutlyn) and Beauvais (Pompetti)
