Hello Peter,

in the USAAF chronology http://paul.rutgers.edu/~mcgrew/wwii/usaf/html/ for Monday, 28 June 1943 under VIII Bomber Command Mission Number 69 is the entry „… we lose 8 B-17's and 57 others are damaged; casualties are 3 KIA, 14 WIA and 50 MIA“.
