Apparently only the first 12 were delivered to Japan as the remaining 18 were refused due to late delivery ( the second batch of 12 off the production line went to JG132).

The 12 went to Universities and ground schools for instruction ---the Heinkel and plane behind ( a Type 93?) have the same tail characters . The A6M2 has "KAGA" designators.
