The World is a much poorer place without him. I consider myself priveleged to have spent many happy vacations with him and Gisela in their beautiful Tyroleon home with my own family. I cherish the many hours we had together talking about his experiences.
There are few words to describe his decency, his warmth and generosity, and all of those who were lucky enough to have met him will know what i am talking about. Kurt, please pass on my sympathy to Gisela, and in the meantime i will write to her. I am sure his loss will be keenly felt throughout the avaition world. I am relieved that such a great man did not suffer at the end and slipped away quietly in his sleep. We have all lost a great friend and mentor!
