Re: Gottfried Dulias
Problem isn't that a few facts are off, the problem is that somehow Herr Dulias can't produce any strong piece of evidence.
As for the US Air Force, it should not be impossible to confirm and perhaps even obtain a copy their findings. IMHO this continued discussion just reaffirms the likely fact that Herr Dulias is not exactly what he claims to be.

Re: Gottfried Dulias
Hi,
The saga continues, so far I don't think that there has been any real evidence, weak or strong. There are some who reckon that I, with my limited knowledge of the He111 and German forces in general, must have flown with the Luftwaffe in WWII! There is a difference between 'armchair historians' mentioned by GD and in-depth researchers who often frequent this board, the former tending to deal with generalities and the latter with specifics. As the GD case is public domain it maybe that the USAF report could be accessed in the US under Freedom of Information. I would venture to suggest that there would have been no additional information available to the USAF that hasn't been, or isn't, available to researchers generally. Regards, David |
