Thanks for the reply. As I've searched more, I found, as you stated, that he was posted as MiA on 8.3.44, instead of 8.3.43. Bad sources!! I was almost starting to wonder if there were TWO Segatz floating around out there! Everything else that you say is exactly as I've found, though I didn't find the date where he was awarded the Deutsches Kreuz --thanks for that. Where are you getting your information? I'd love to read some more on this fellow! Thanks again, Leo.
