Hi,
As far as I can tell it is what we to-day call the METAR, the actual weather at the airfields listed. QDM is not a heading to be flown, but the bearing to the transmitter. QFE is the altimeter setting of the airfield in question, if set, the altimeter will read zero when you land. This is opposed to QNH, where you will read the airfield elevation when you land. bregds SES
