Re: Loss of MS 406 serial nr 918
Hi,
I saw lot of photos of n°918 (GC III/2, 5ème escadrille) taken by the Germans at Cambrai. This one is on his wheels, and i can confirm here that the propeller was not damaged in a belly landing. We can often see n°605 "10" and n°926 "1" near it. The other one with the code 2 in Cambrai, n°927 (6ème escadrille), was destroyed by fire, i can only see the fin with this code and the serial number of the aircraft. Do you recognize your photo ?
