What is your source for the loss of 5725? The only one I have for this date and unit is (although as you see I have my doubt on the WNr): http://www.ahs.no/ref_db/lw_loss_pub...?lossid=132822 Also, the notion that Bf 109F's were not used by the I./JG 3 in the west seem to be wrong. Please check your references for the loss of WNr 5727. To Hans - another possibility also exist - if you believe your aircraft were used in the west - namely that the aircraft belonged to a training unit at the time it was photographed. Wnr 5720 and 5724 were used by JGr Ost, while WNr 5728 were at JGr Süd. I have not finished entering all the losses for the training units, will notify you if 'your' aircraft turn up.
