No half leg missing on this plane, just a slight enbankment on the side of the taxiway which can be seen in Urbanke 1998, p. 359. This pic is part of a well known serie showing machines of 7./JG 26 taxxying in February 1945 at their base in Nordhorn - Klausheide. This precise picture is published in Urbanke 1998, p. 300. It shows Fw 190 D-9 "Brown 9" Wnr. unknown in the same location and date as mentionned above. Onlooking is Ofw Hansen, from the "Technischen Personal ". This machine is probably the one which was crash landed west of Nordhorn by Lt. Siegfried Sy on 4 April 1945. Urbanke 1998: Urbanke, A.
