Have found a photo of Ju 88 A-4 sister ship (823082 VG+TL) and it has only the four letters ´3082´ in Grey on the fin tip. Photo is not that clear so one can see if it is in Stensil type lettering (like 3084). But, Yes, possibly it was transit or transport flight but then another thing emerges. Ju 88 A-4 823084 was only flying from about December 1943 so most likely dates for photos are in spring or summer 1944 onwards. Possibly it had been converted to A-17 Torpedo Bomber but I have no info yet on that.
