Beware: I've received Hi-Rez Bf109 pictures using the link provided by Marc. Quick answer!
but:
The gentleman responsible for the said site, send ONE mail containing the new link to ALL people who asked for!!! Hence I've got private mails from some of you!

Some details about two of the S.79.

One of them (with white training strips over wings) it's the aircraft coded MAL-39 (MM 21298) of the Malpensa school that flew from Malpensa to Milazzo (Sicily) after the armistice of the 8 september 1943. This aircraft then went to Korba (Tunisia).

The full code of the S.79 of the NAS is "1NS-20" (MM 22016). Some years ago, some viodeotapes with footage taken by US Combat Camera Unit were published in Italy: one of the short movies contained in them shows this very S.79 on the ground and in fligth over the sea. This aircraft was "stolen" at Fano by torpedo aces Cap. Giulio Cesare Graziani, Cap. Franco Prati and Alfredo Pulsetti that, with two airmen, reached Catania on 13 september 1943. It's possible that this aircraft went to Korba too. These three officer are shown in the movie together a USAAF officer near this aircraft.

I have seen others pictures of these Me 109 wrecks in the photo albums of three or four former pilots of the french air force. They told me that the photos where taken in Tunisia.

The photos were all taken at La Marsa airfield in Tunisia after the Luftwaffe had evacuated the place.
