Crew 3./Aufkl.Gru. 33
While on a sortie to Catania harbour on 24.05.1944 the port engine of Ju 188 (8H+EL) was hit by anti-aircraftfire, putting it out of action. The crew faced a single-engined over-water flight to Kalamaki.
The crew was" ? Werner Höchst, ? Ju 188 (8H+EL) with BO. Uffz. Erwin Gruber, ? Werner Beier, ? Günter Mantel What was the function of Höchst, Beier and Mantel?
