Question on Sonderstaffel Tr.O.
The KTB of Sonderstaffel Tr.O makes reference to three separate Sonderstaffel - notable B, D, and G/Sonderstaffel. The entry for 31/3/40 makes not that after repairs the aircraft (singular) of D/Sonderstaffel is reported ready for action. The impression is that only one aircraft is used by each Sonderstaffel
My question, then, is "D" (or indeed, B or G) the aircraft letter and thus a single aircraft represents a 'sonderstaffel' (in which case does anyone know the Vkz of the unit as it was my understanding it never used one), or does the letter represent something entirely different? Any help clearing this up would be appreciated. TIA Adam
