February 12th, 1945 A/c loss. Texas, USA.
Hello,
Am seeking an aircraft lost/crashed in Texas (?) Which it seems was cause of at least one fatality. Date given is 12th February, 1945. Unit said to be possibly VN-14. British Naval Airman base given as HMS Saker. He is at rest in Corpus Christi ( Rose Hill ) Memorial Park, Texas, USA. Problem is that I cannot find any details of an air crash that would match his loss. Alex
