WO F A STEVENSON 252 Sqn

Can anyone tell me this pilot's christian names? His service number is either R138318 or R138518 and he was on the Sqn Jan-Feb 44

Re: WO F A STEVENSON 252 Sqn

Chris,
Probably a typo of Alex re MacDonald from http://www.rafcommands.com/forum/sho...5228#post25228 (#1)

If MacDonald R/138318 then Stevenson likely R/138518.

Regards,
Leendert

Air 27/1509/1 page 5, has a casualty list for 31/01/44 where he is listed as 138318 F/S. Stevenson H A. (Pilot).

And again as H,A in Air 27/1509/5, Page 5 as(provisionally missing)

Also as F A, in Air 27/1509/2, Page 2. Beaufighter LZ377.

Gone through the F540. H A Stevenson R138518. He gets commissioned in June, retaining his NCO service number until end of July 1944 when it becomes J15274!
